Doris Nagel is a serial entrepreneur and long-time corporate/commercial attorney and small business coach and mentor. She has started or helped start at least 9 startups, some candidly more successful than others!
She helps startup and small businesses with a variety of legal issues through her Forsythia Law business. She helps businesses partner more effectively, whether with suppliers, distributors, strategic alliances, or customers through her advisory services business, Globalocity.
She’s a former Adjunct Professor at the DePaul University Law School, a regular columnist for Global Trade Magazine, a frequent speaker, blogger, and podcaster (check out her podcasts here).
Her latest ventures include voice-over work, playing piano gigs and accompanying, and playing cello with the Waukegan Symphony. She’s a graduate of both the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She currently lives in Libertyville, and her daughter is a sophomore at the University of Illinois in Champaign.
